কিছু কিছু শব্দ আছে,যারা বস্তুতঃ পূর্বজন্মের....এমন কিছু কিছু অলস দুপুর থাকে,যার রৌদ্রে আমি কোনো মহাজাগতিক উষ্ঞতা পাই না।আমার অনেকাংশে অকেজো শরীর জড়িয়ে ধরতে থাকে শীতের বেশুমার ঠান্ডা হাত।উত্তরের বাঁশবন থেকে ভেসে আসে ঘুঘুর একটানা ডাক-ঘু.....ঘু........ঘুঘুর.....ঘু.....চোখ-গেল র কান্না,শুকনো পাতা উড়িয়ে নেওয়া বাতাসের মর্মর।
এই সব ধ্বনি-প্রতিধ্বনি চেতনায় নিয়ে আমি ফের ঘুমে ডুবে যেতে যেতে ভাবি,তোমার অজগর ভালোবাসা কখন যেন আমার কলম-টুকুও কেড়ে নিয়েছে,আর আমি তা বুঝতেও পারিনি............
